November 1st marked the beginning of American Indian & Alaska Native Heritage Month! Join us in celebrating the pasts, presents, and futures of Indigenous peoples and their cultures.
A fun place to begin: check out the new television series Reservation Dogs. The comedy follows a group of Indigenous teens as they plan to follow their dreams beyond life on their Oklahoma reservation. The show is written, produced, and stars Indigenous folks.
And most importantly, let’s continue to shift our communities to be places of belonging for all peoples.
