“Mentoring with Streetwise has been a great way to advance our mission to empower job seekers in our communities. Being able to virtually volunteer with StreetWise during the pandemic has allowed us to continue serving our communities during these challenging times.” – CPWLN member
As part of the partnership, Clarion employees have been actively volunteering as mentors to the ambitious job seekers seeking training from StreetWise Partners. The Clarion Partners Women’s Leadership Network hosted an event called “From Good to Great: Unlocking Your Potential” where female identifying job seekers learned how to advocate for themselves in a confident and professional manner. Participants worked closely with members of the network to develop strategies for advocating for oneself, negotiating and career development.
“Women’s History Month gives us a chance to reflect on the achievements of the women that came before us. There are many lessons to be learned, stories to be shared and advice to be given. Our partnership with Clarion Partners and the great women of CPWLN allows us to provide this important mentorship to our job seekers year-round.” said Nicole Carrea, Chief Partnerships Officer at StreetWise Partners. “We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and passionate group of volunteers to lead by example and mentor the next generation of great female leaders”
