We have embraced the possibilities of a virtual event and turned our annual Breakfast into a day-long celebration! Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have planned inspirational and informative events that are open to all. Come as you are at whatever time suits you best. We want you to experience the magic of StreetWise – volunteerism, community, innovation, and leadership in developing the talent of the future.

Our mission has never been more relevant. Your participation in these events will allow us to expand our programs for those who have been overlooked and underestimated. Check out the events below, register, and we look forward to (virtually) seeing you on June 4th!

HR Insights: Reset, Reflect, Relaunch

“The Covid-19 coronavirus is becoming the accelerator for one of the greatest workplace transformations of our lifetime. How we work, exercise, shop, learn, communicate, and of course, where we work, will be changed forever!” - Forbes

Organizations and individuals alike spent much of the last few months in crisis response mode, prioritizing health and safety above all. Now, as we start to emerge from that initial phase and look ahead to getting back to work and life outside of our home, leaders are taking a hard look at the next set of workplace challenges and job seekers are having to adjust their search to meet the new expectations of an adaptable workforce.

This panel is broken into 3 parts, starting from a high level economic perspective then moving to specifics of hiring and finally focusing in on tactical steps a job seeker can take to best position themselves to be hired.

Webinar concludes with a 15 minute Q&A for all panelists.

Lunchtime Micro-Mentoring

Mentorship lies at the core of all StreetWise does. For a young professional, having a more experienced mentor to guide the way means access to more opportunities, and the knowledge to take advantage of them. Now more than ever, a mentor can make all the difference in a job seeker's career.

Lunchtime Micro-Mentoring will give participants the opportunity to have a lasting impact on a young professional's career, and give a taste of the value StreetWise's innovative program provides to our mentees. In breakout sessions, volunteers will get 1:1 time with mentees currently involved in our program to both offer advice, and hear about a mentees journey.

Registration is limited to invite only.

Time: 12:00 pm - 1:00pm

StreetWise Cocktail Hour

End the day with a cocktail and an intimate fireside chat with venture capitalist Anton Levy of General Atlantic, who ranks high on the Midas list for his investments in Alibaba, Uber, Airbnb, Vox, and Buzzfeed. Anton will be joined by Neil Barua, CEO of ServiceMax, the leading provider of cloud-based software for service execution management. Moderated by Michele Steele, Studio Anchor and Reporter at ESPN, these two leaders will share insights on their careers and how mentorship has impacted their journeys and shaped their success.

Time: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
